How to use angiocatheters:

4. Insert the catheter: Use a steady hand to insert it into the vein/ artery
5. Secure the catheter: Use the provided securement device to attach the catheter to the patient's skin.
6. Confirm placement: Confirm that the catheter is in the right position using visual and tactile cues.
7. Begin treatment: Begin administering fluids, medications or other treatments as prescribed by the physician.
It's important to note that using an angiocatheter requires knowledge of aseptic technique, venipuncture technique and knowledge of anatomical landmarks. It is recommended to receive proper training in order to safely and effectively use it.
